2023 27-D1 District Convention
• The 27-D1 Convention is set for Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11, 2023 at the Madison Marriott West in Middleton. The Convention Committee is working on all aspects of the convention, from planning meals to making sure that they provide informative and timely breakout sessions. Please check the District 27-D1 website under the Conventions tab for the latest information and to stay informed. Past International Director Justin K. Faber from Deckerville, Michigan will be our guest for the weekend and will be the keynote speaker on Saturday.
Registration
• Online registration instructions are available on the website by clicking here. Fees for the convention include a registration fee of $20, Saturday noon luncheon of $35 and Saturday evening banquet which includes the ‘I Love the 80s To Death’ of $50. There will also be a virtual only registration fee of $20, however we will need at least 25 individuals registered for the virtual only presentation for it to go forward.
Housing
• Secure your housing for the convention by contacting the Madison Marriott West at 888-745-2032 and ask for the Lions Convention room block. You may also book your room online using this link. The room rate is $132 per night plus taxes. The room block will be held until February 10, 2023 at which time rooms will be provided on a space available basis at published rates.
Tables
• Lion Laurie Holthaus will be handling reservations for display tables. The cost of a non-Lions project display table is $100 or $125 with electricity. To access the form click here.
Program Advertising
• The rates for advertising in the program book will be $100 for a full page and $50 for a half page. The inside front and back cover and the outside back cover will cost $150 and they are in color. Access the advertising form here.
Raffle Prizes
• The committee is asking that clubs donate a raffle prize ($25 value) for the raffle on Saturday. The funds raised through the raffle will benefit district and state wide projects. Please contact District Governor Al Johnson to arrange for the delivery of your raffle prizes.
