January Cabinet Meeting
1st VDG Report for January 18, 2015 District Meeting

Since the cabinet meeting on October 12, 2014, I have attended Zone meetings for Region 3 Zone 1 & 2 in Cobb, Region 3 Zone 4 in Middleton, Region 4 Zone 1 in Fennimore and Region 2 Zone 2 at Portage. Helped DG Randy install 14 new members at the UW Campus Club on October 16, 2014 and installed 22 more on November 3, 2014.

Attended the following:
• A-1 District Cabinet meeting along with GMT Co Chair Jodi and PID Peter.
• Oregon/Brooklyn Lions Club dinner honoring Dr. Guil with a Lifetime Membership on October 25, 2014.
• District Convention Committee meetings.

Travelled to Wisconsin Dells with IPDG Bob to help with the Wisconsin Dells Lions Club's CEP process.

On December 6, 2014 went to Stevens Point with Lion Jodi to present and help train the new District wide Administrator program dealing with the MY LCI system at LCI. Cabinet Secretary Ron Wright will be 27-D1 Administrator. Our District had the best ratings in the state with 81.4% of the clubs getting in their MMR Reports and 52.4% getting in their Activity Reports. Should still be at 100% but this is a goal for next year.

Will be attending the 1st Vice District Governor training on January 9, 2015 and the Council of Governors meeting on January 10, 2015.

In my spare time I have also been recruiting Lions members to be on my District Cabinet for 2015-2016. As of December 28, 2015, I need a Leo District Chair and Zone Chairs in Region 1 Zone 2, Region 3 Zone 1, Region 3 Zone 4, Region 4 Zone 2 and Region 4 Zone 3. Not many dull moments in the last two months!
