October Cabinet Meeting
1st VDG Report for the October 12, 2014 District Cabinet Meeting

Since the cabinet meeting on August 3, 2014 I have attended six Zone meetings. Went on a trip to Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester, Michigan, touring the facility, talking to instructors and recipients of leader dogs, seeing how the dogs are trained. It was also a time to get together with six of the other District Governors who will be on my cabinet next year.

I also attended the Welcome to the District Governor golf outing put on by the Stoughton Lions Club as well as the Midwest Health Expo at Mt Horeb. Then departed for the USA/Canada Forum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There were a lot of good seminars and fellowship with other lions.

Attended a state wide GLT Training at Stevens Point on September 27th, VDG training on October 3rd and the Council of Governors meeting on October 4th at Stevens Point.

In my spare time I have also been recruiting Lions members to be on my District Cabinet for 2015-2016. Not many dull moments in the last two months!
