USA/Canada Leadership Forum

The Forum is September 17-19 in Grand Rapids, MI.  From Madison that is about a 5 ½ hour car ride. This year they are starting seminars on Thursday. The Forum has 60 seminars over three days to choose from.  Just a small sampling is:  New Lions Recruit New Lions, Keep One, Ask One, Partnerships with Government, Legal Issues, Social Media Advanced, Ethics in Social Media, and Beer Brewing.

Thursday night will have Bucket N' Boards at the Lions Fun Festival.  They are a Comedy Percussion Show and will provide lively entertainment.  Friday's luncheon will feature Lisa Whelchel.  Most will remember her as Blair on "The Facts of Life".  Her message is how to be an active servant in today's fast paced and busy world.  Saturday we will here from President Dr. Yamada at lunch. Saturday night will close with Wayne Brock.  Mr. Brock is the Chief Scout Executive of the Boy Scouts of America.  They are dedicated to developing positive values in young people.  Also see the World Premiere of "We Serve On:  The Dramatic Story of a Century of Lions Service".  Starring Melvin Jones, Helen Keller, Jimmy Carter and many more Lions leaders.
