lnternational Convention Committee Report

The 99th lnternational Convention will be held in Fukuoka, Japan, June 24 - 28, 2016. The early registration period ends January 8, 2015. After that date the registration fee increases from $130.00 to S180.00 per person. International does not send out a listing of those registered from Wisconsin until after the early registration period ends.

The Wisconsin delegation hotel is the Hyatt Regency Fukuoka. The room rate at the Hyatt Regency Fukuoka is $l63.63 per night plus tax of 18%. The hotel is approximately 2.3 miles from Convention Center. The District Governor Elects will be housed at several different hotels.

I will arrange for rneeting space for the Council of Governors after consultation with the current Council Chair and the incoming Council Chair. Also the Wisconsin Delegation will be entered in the lnternational parade. lnformation regarding the Midwest Breakfast witl be forwarded to all registered attendees after it is received.
