Lions, Lioness and Leos of MD27-D1

Thank you for your support of the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). LCIF, with the help of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and your generation donations have helped to immunize more than 200 million children throughout the world against measles and rubella.

In the last few months there have been some natural disasters including the flooding in South Carolina and the Bahamas due to hurricane Joaquin. If you or your club want to help with any donations to LCIF that count towards credit to a Melvin Jones Fellowship please when you make your check out put in the memo line Disaster Relief so that it can be designated for natural disaster relief.

Locally two years ago MD27-D1 received a $75,000 grant for the Hope House in Middleton and Multiple District 27 (the state of Wisconsin) received a $100,000 matching grant to purchase Vision Screening Devices to be distributed between districts and clubs for Children Vision Screening.
