October Cabinet Meeting
Region 2 Zone 2 Report on Vision Screening at Columbia County Fair
Hello Leader Lions!
Here are the results of the Columbia County Fair Vision Screening Project.
Pass it on and refer folks to us if you think it is a viable inter club activity, as well as a great community project for other places with sizeable county fairs.
I can supply templates of forms, pics, etc. EARLY planning is the key to get media coverage with the fair group.
Emil and I think we can do better next year, now that we got our first annual county fair screening completed!
I will be selling the attributes of all the volunteers at today's Zone Meeting!
There will be everything from "Tail twister" Lion books to glow in the dark Lions caps up for the raffles.
THANKS for making it easier for me to organize my folders for each club, with the blue handouts!
I've also enclosed the agenda for the 'folder' that each club will receive at the meeting.
Hope I can cover the highlights and still get out in a little more than an hour!
Lion Mike Keller ZC
P.S., Got the noeeting done by 8pm and that was with dinner and guest John Dickson (WLF) speaking also, and of course a full page ofjokes!
Everyone won a raffle gift! Appeared to be a happy crowd.... 'as they left! (Maybe it was because the meeting was over)
Everyone listed club events on a white grease board. Next Zone Meeting will be Oct. 13th at Dino's in Portage. 6pm start up!
