October Cabinet Meeting
Region 3 Zone I and Region 3 Zone 2 Zone Meeting August 4 2015

The Region 3 Zone 1 and Region 3 Zone 2 Zone meeting was held at R Place in Cobb. There were 18 members from the eight clubs in the two zones present. Zone Chair Jerry and Zone Chair Darwin both led the meeting alternating points on the agenda provided by the district. I thought both did a very good job of leading the meeting. At the end of the meeting Zone Chair Jerry brought up about the meeting on August 6 at Platteville in regards to the UW Platteville Club at the attempt to rebuild the club. One of the members wanted information about who was supposed to be contacted at Platteville because she has a daughter attending and is a previous Leo. Some of the clubs also expressed their opinion that they felt it was a little late to find out about the club problems in late April or early May.

We also talked about the directory and that it was available online. One of the club secretaries mentioned that he had changed his own record on MyLCI but it never appeared online. I mentioned that besides changing on MyLCI that information should also be given to Kathy at the state office to make the changes to the statewide directory since we only have one electronic feed from lnternational and that since he was a secretary that Scott Grover should be notified as well to update the district mailing lists. Until we talked about it at the zone meeting it had not occurred to me that the current directory situation had so many holes in it. I feel that possibly we should mention in the District section of the newspaper the procedure for changing emails, addresses or phone numbers for club officers.
