District Governor Report

It is hard to believe but it is March and District Convention time already. My wife Laurie and I have enjoyed all of the club visits that we have had this year already and look forward to the Club visits of the future. If your club has not scheduled a club visit with me, please do so now. If your club has not scheduled officer elections for next year, please get them done as soon as possible so that we can get some advanced materials to them prior to officer training. Officer Training this year will have a new format and new materials this year. Please plan on attending if you are an officer, and if you are a new member, there will be a new member orientation session there as well, which can be seen by anyone.

Membership in the District is currently setting at -36 for the year. Thanks for all of the clubs that have added members. Also, I want to thank all of the clubs for the service that they provide to the communities. We have logged over 52,000 service hours since July 1. Most importantly thank you for all that you do. I want to congratulate those who have been nominated for Club and Lion of the year at this years convention.
