District Meeting - Sunday, October 9, 2016

Region 1 Zone 2 Report

On August 15th I conducted my first Zone meeting of the year at the Marshall Lions Park. All 5 clubs were in attendance. Since Marshall was new to the zone I asked all 5 clubs to discuss their projects and fundraisers to be more aquatinted with one another.

I visited the Token Creek Lions on August 11th and Marshall Lions on September 14th. At both meeting I discussed that there is a need for Zone Chair since I am going to be the GMT coordinator for the district next year. I also discussed registering for the International convention and the learning opportunities available for Lions.

I have scheduled my club visit for DeForest Lions on October 10th, Waunakee on October 19th and Sun Prairie Lions on October 27th.

The Regional Meeting is scheduled for October 17th in Portage.
