Children's Vision Screening Report

A training session for the PlusoptiX screeners was held on November 4, 2017 at Edgerton Hospital, 11101 N. Sherman. Approximately 25 Lions from several area clubs attended and were certified.

Screenings have been proceeding in the District at a rapid pace. Twenty-Four clubs have reported a total of 8629 children have been screened so far and 645 have been referred. That works out to a 7.5% referral rate which is average for the MD 27 and WLF are sponsoring the Centennial Challenge to screen 100,000 children from 5/1/2017 to 4/30/2018. The electronic version is fillable on the computer and auto totals the columns. Get your reports turned in so that we can meet and win this challenge.
