CENTENNIAL REPORT

We are in the last months of our centennial celebration. At district convention we will be celebrating our Eyeglass Recycling Challenge win with a party on Saturday night.

Centennial Service Challenge- we still have 3 clubs that have not reported any challenge projects. On the plus side we have 55 clubs that are participating. The state has 73% participation of clubs. Our district has a 95% participation. Thank you!!!!

Membership Challenge - We have had 17 clubs that added 3 or more members with 120 new members to help with all of our service.

Legacy Projects - The Lions of D1 have 79 Legacy Projects. Of the 79 projects, 5 of those are level 3. Level 3 is a major impact on their community. Thank you Lions for all that you are doing.

Centennial Children’s Vision Screening Challenge-We have screened 10,350 kids. That is 4.61 kids/member. Please report your numbers to Dave Hineline.

At State Convention, we will be wrapping up the centennial celebration. The 2nd half of the business meeting on Friday will be PID Dr. Ed Cordes, presenting information about the importance of vision screening and follow up. PID Cordes is the chairperson for Lions Kids Sight First USA.

Thank you Lions for all the hard work. YOU ROCK!!!!

Respectfully submitted,
Tammy Rockenbach
