2nd VDG Report

In the past couple of months, I have visited a couple of clubs, installing officers in one of the clubs. I also attended three of the zone meetings in my area.

I have inducted several new members in to three different clubs. We have been recruiting members, we need to work on retaining the members we have.

A shout out to the Mazomanie and Cross Plains Lions for all the legwork you have put in for the flood relief. You exemplify what it means to be a Lion.

I attended the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum in Columbus, OH. There were great motivating speakers, over 80 wonderful seminars to choose from, and of course the ability to network with Lions all over the US and Canada. We face similar challenges, so if we can work together for solutions we will be a better organization.

I am looking forward to six nights of region meetings, meeting so many Lions and hearing their successes. Hopefully, the District Governor team can inspire and answer questions of what has been happening in the district and at the international level.
