District Cabinet Meeting - Sunday, October 14, 2018
District Convention Report

The first meeting of the District Convention Committee was held on September 11 in conjunction with the State Convention Committee at the Marriott Hotel in Middleton. Our next meeting is set for Monday October 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Marriott. More volunteers are needed to put on both conventions so feel free to attend the next meeting.

A special advertising rate will be available to clubs that would like to advertise in both state and district program publications. Meal costs are being negotiated at this time and the program committee met October 8. Contact 2 nd VDG Tammy Rockenbach with program ideas.

Dates for the Convention are March 9-10, 2019 at the Marriott in Middleton. The room block will be available until Feb 15 th and registration information should be out in December. The format will be similar to last year with the majority of the programming on Saturday followed by a Sunday a.m. cabinet meeting and a couple of Sunday a.m. sessions. Any district trainings can be held Sunday a.m. Let Rick Daluge know if you wish to provide any such trainings.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Saturday evening social, raffles, and several other functions. This is a great way to learn more about Lions and our district.
