Children's Vision Screening Report

A training/recertification session for the PlusoptiX screeners was held on September 6, 2018 at the Waunakee Village Center . Eighteen (18) Lions including DG John Elvekrog, 1st VDG Conrad Dryer, and 2nd VDG Tammy Rockenbach were in attendance. All attendees will or have been certified until 9/6/2021. It was the last scheduled training by Valerie Grimm from Prevent Blindness for Lions Clubs in Wisconsin as she has taken a job in another field.

Several clubs have started their annual screenings and sent results as requested. As of today (10/8/2018) twelve Lions/Lioness Clubs have reported 1676 screened and 126 have been referred for further evaluation.

Club vision chairs, please remember to report your results on the latest reporting form. It is organized by grade level membership. If you need the most current form you can e-mail CVS Chair, Dave Hineline and he will send it in both excel and .pdf format. See address below.
