Restoring Hope Transplant House Report

Between Executive Director Cindy Herbst and myself we have attended all but one district convention thus far. We missed the A1 convention due to weather concerns. Our plan is to visit all remaining district conventions as well as the state convention to promote the house. We will begin with the expansion project this summer. The balance of the LCIF grant ($59,000) will be expended at that time and will keep all posted on construction progress. We ask the districts help to find 17 corporate sponsors who are willing to put forth a donation of $10,000 each to retire the existing mortgage making it easier to maneuver through construction. In addition, if anyone has contacts in the building trades to help with donations of product or services during construction that would indeed be very helpful as well. Michele Carolla from channel 47 news accepted our invitation to run a human interest segment on one of her recent broadcasts. The video of that report is posted on the district and state web site. Please continue to support the house through personal and club donations. We are available to present at club and zone meetings - contact either Cindy or myself to make those arrangements. Cindy and I would like to thank all the Lions of our district for your continued support. We could not accomplish what we do on a daily basis without your help. Best wishes to all very a happy and healthy new year.

Sincerely,
PDG Bob Faliveno
