Wisconsin Lions Foundation Report
Thank you to the clubs that help bring deer hides in for camp. Last year deer hides collection check was $80,853.50.
2022 Lions Camp for Kids Raffle tickets will be handed out at the District Convention.
Prevent Blindness Wisconsin will be charging Lions $75 to train on the charts beginning January 1, 2022. Wisconsin Lions Foundation is putting together an action plan to start training on the charts and on the devices.
March 7, registration will open for visitor days. There will only be one time offering from 1-4 p.m. and a meal will no longer be included. All visitors will be required to wear a mask inside the buildings.
Kwik Trip credit card can donate a portion of the sales to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation. Amazon Smile also donate to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation.
2022 Summer Camp is planning on 125 campers per week for this summer.
There are three Resolutions going to be voted on at the 2022 State Convention. These Resolutions are being brought forward because that cost of maintenance projects exceeds $100,000 and must be approved by the Lions of Wisconsin. Wisconsin Lions Foundation staff felt that these maintenance projects need to be done in order to maintain a safe environment for the campers.
Thank you to all the Clubs and Members of this District for their support with Wisconsin Lions Foundation and the State Projects.
