Restoring Hope Transplant House Report

Relative to our expansion project, we are very pleased that we are continuing to see donations post Covid and are moving steadily toward construction. We are in constant communication with our building contractor- they are keeping us informed on the cost and availability of building supplies moving forward. We are seeing some reduction in lumber cost but overall availability of supplies in general is not where it needs to be- the supply chain has not fully recovered from the Covid disruption. Once all the variables are where they need to be, then and only then, will Director, Lion Cindy sign a contract to begin construction. Our guest numbers have increased steadily in recent months as Covid restrictions ease. This coming week the house will be full with guests. The interaction with the UW transplant team continues to be very supportive. Many thanks to all the Lions of Wisconsin for their past and continued support as we move closer to construction.

Sincerely,
PDG Bob Faliveno
