Leader Dog Report - January, 2013

As for my report on Leader Dog at this time we have Kim Becker from Hazel Green that will be leaving Jan. 10th for Leader Dog School. She will be returning Feb. 1st. She is so humbled to think a girl from a small town in the Midwest would ever be accepted to the School. She is very excited to be going. I would like to thank Neil Winchell who will be providing transportation to and from Madison. The Monroe Lion's Club for providing her with some spending money while she is at the school.

We will be looking forward on hearing more about her experience upon her return.

If your club has not yet donated to Leader Dog please do so that there are more Kim Beckers that could benifit from a guide dog. The cost is around $40,000.00 all free to the student thanks to the Lion's Cubs.
