January Cabinet Meeting
REGION 3 ZONE 4 CHAIR CABINET MEETING REPORT
DG Dick Schwedrsky and 27-D1 Cabinet,
As you know, our zone had 100% attendance at the October Region Meeting. On October 27, 2015, I visited the Middleton Lions Club where the President and Secretary were the only club members at the meeting. To renew members' interest in meetings the officers are bringing in inspiring guest speakers including from the Restoring Hope Transplant House and Wisconsin Lions Camp. Their members are active with fundraisers and service projects. Attached* is a letter I sent to the club reviewing other items discussed with you and other leaders in our district. The Middleton Lions will host our January 20th Zone Meeting at 7:00 pm at Cold Fusion Restaurant & Bar, 2644 Branch Street, Middleton.
My November 17, 2015 visit to Mt. Horeb Lions was well attended. Among the evening activities, they inducted a new member, had a diabetes awareness presentation by WLF Director John Dickson, and PDG Rick Koch presented President Becky Faliveno with a Knight of Sight Fellowship.
I visited my home club, the Cross Plains Lions on January 7, 2016. This is a healthy club. They voted to take over the sponsorship of the local Boy Scout troupe. They already sponsor the local Cub Scout pack.
Because of events and fundraisers, I will visit Mazomanie Lions at their February meeting.
Thank you for allowing me to serve.
Lion Zone Chair Joyce Koch
