District Cabinet Meeting - March 11, 2018

Meeting called to order by DG Jodi.
Pledge - 1st VDG John.

ID Jenny Ware - gave words of inspiration.
Thank you to the Convention Executive Team: Lions Bill Clausius, Rick Daluge, Missy Dickson, and Lioness Jessica Schwedrsky.
ADP - Lioness/Lion Greg Clark - great weekend, most of the cabinet for the affiliate is filled.
GMT - Lion Tara - membership is down, but we need to reverse this trend. Please attend the Growth Workshop.
GLT - Lion Mike - Officer training is coming up in April. There will be 5 sessions. More information coming out soon.
Convention - Lion Bill - everything came together, follow up meeting to come, we need to look at locations for the 2020 convention.
State Convention - Lion Missy Dickson will chair, Lioness Jessica Schwedrsky will be the registrar.
Youth Exchange - Lion Ben August - 5-kids from our district are going abroad this year. Half of the youth going abroad in the state is from our district. 50-60 kids are coming to WI and will need host families. Our district already has all of the host families it needs for this year.
DG Jodi informed guest that they can do to the district website for all cabinet reports and minutes.
Environment - Lion Al - Lions do a great job with the environment, especially with highway clean up.
IPDG Eric - Communicate Like a Leader still has spots available if interested.
Paul Baker - LCI Extension Specialist - has been a new club consultant since 2007. He will be conducting the Growth Workshop at 9 am. He will help us develop new ways to recruit and how to get younger members.
Workshop - Club Growth Workshop will be in Room I and CRASE will be in the Grand Ballroom.
